Governing Body

Functions: Appointment, Confirmation of Teaching and Non-Teaching staff and Service Conditions, Creation of Posts.

1. Guide the Autonomous College while fulfilling the objectives for which the College has been granted autonomous status.
2. Fix the fees and other charges payable by the students of the college on the recommendations of the Finance Committee.
3. Institute scholarships, fellowship, studentships, medals, prizes and certificates on the recommendations of the Academic Council.
4. Approval of new programmes (courses) of study leading to degree and/or diploma.
5. All recruitments of Teaching Faculty/Principal shall be made the Governing Body/State Government as aaplicable in accordance with the policies laid down by the UGC and State Government from time to time.
6. To approve the annual budget of the Autonomous College.
7. Perform such other functions and institute committees, as may be necessary and deemed fit for the proper development of the Autonomlus College.
